I often get asked about home dyes or asked to apply a home dye to someones hair. No, no, no... it's not good ladies!!!

Box dyes are formulated as a 'one size fits all'. They have maximum amounts of pigment and ammonia, so its able to reach a wide range of various hair types and colours. All the unnecessary overload of ingredients will create havoc on the health of your hair. Your hair will not look like the celebrity on the box!
You are also increasing the risk of allergic reactions as most people don't realise a patch/skin test is massively important before application. Hair products are chemicals and hairdressers have trained for years to master and mix colours to suit everyone's expectations and needs - experience is key!
